Joseph Jesselli
Joseph Jesselli designs and creates cutting-edge guitars inspired by the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements of the early 20th century. The result is something of an anachronism; modern technology seamlessly blended with an elegant and classic aesthetic.
Jesselli builds only four or five guitars per year, and
employs exotic, rare materials in each of his instruments. Every guitar is built individually, with Jesselli
choosing the materials based upon exactly what
weight and color he is looking for. His designs are
based on everything from furniture to architecture.
Nearly every aspect of the guitar, from leather pickup
covers (which he says have absolutely zero effect on
magnetic fields) to the matching strap and tuning
keys, is built by Jesselli himself. This is because he
designs each instrument as a unit, so each component
must fit perfectly. Jesselli even builds the cases for
these guitars.
