Heartbreaker Mike Campbell (left) rocks a NAMM party with his side project,
The Dirty Knobs, while playing his signature Duesenberg. Former Black Crowes
guitarist Marc Ford (right) grabbed a yet-unnamed Duesenberg single coil
prototype to sit in. Editor in Chief Chris Burgess, who reviewed Campbell’s
signature model [Feb. 2008], was in the audience and was overheard wondering
why the guitar didn’t sound that way when he played it.
