Taylor T3 & T3B Semi-Hollowbody Electric
The middle ground between Taylor’s Solidbody
Electric and the T5 has been filled with the new T3,
which blends classic semi-hollowbody tone with
original design features that are much appreciated
by experienced players: Taylor Style 2 humbuckers
(with a coil splitter), Taylor hardware, which includes
perhaps the best control knobs in the biz and, of
course, Taylor construction. Wood-wise, the T3 sports
a sapele body, quilted maple top, sapele neck and
an ebony fretboard. The optional Bigsby B70 (T3B
model) takes the semi-hollowbody to another level.
T3 MSRP: $2998
T3/B MSRP: $3198

The soon-to-be-released Giggity is an overdrive/boost that
can have a dramatic effect on the overall quality of your tone.
When used in front of your pedalboard, the Air knob gives
you control of a nice shimmer that emerges. When used after
your pedalboard in a clean amp you get amazing crunch and
low frequency by adjusting the Body knob. There’s also a four-position Tone/Gain knob (sun to moon) that helps you dial in
the best voicing for your amp.

The first Korina acoustic we’ve seen comes from Martin
in an OM shape with a spruce top. The distinctive look of
Korina really pops when you see it on the back and sides of
this beauty. The wood also offers tonal range that could be
described as warmer and richer. The OMCE comes equipped
with the new D-TAR pickup, which combines a condenser mic
and an undersaddle pickup. With its modified low oval neck
and an ergonomic cutaway, the guitar is definitely a new kind
of ride for Martin, and a very smooth one at that.
