SHURE SUPER 55 DELUXE VOCAL MICROPHONE
Seventy years after the debut of the original Shure Unidyne, the model once advertised as
‘The Microphone That Needs No Name’ is getting a performance upgrade and an enhanced
retro-cool look. Shure has taken the iconic 55SH body, in production since 1951, added
some vibrant blue color and dropped in a new supercardioid motor for additional clarity,
more gain before feedback and excellent off-axis rejection. Features include a neodymium
magnet and output transformer for increased sensitivity, rugged die-cast steel casing and
internal shock mount. The Super 55 carries a two-year limited warranty.

SCHALLER “HANNES” BRIDGE
Schaller’s new low-maintenance “Hannes” bridge lies directly on the guitar surface and
has no protruding screws, edges or spikes, assuring outstanding playing comfort. Each
string is fed via separate coupler unit for individually adjustable intonation and height,
which also decouples individual strings from the neighbouring strings, allowing string
vibration to be transferred directly and independently to the guitar body. The individual
couplers lie flat and stable on the guitar surface, ensuring the optimal transfer of the
entire vibration spectrum to the instrument. Vibratory mass has been minimised using the
latest composite material: heat-treated, high-performance polymers with Teflon, known
as “String Saver” (patented by Graph Tech). String Saver’s lower friction counteracts the
risk of broken strings and extends the sustain and reverberation of the vibrating strings
against the saddles. The use of Teflon also means that the bridge surface is comfortably
warm, resistant to perspiration and oxidation, and offers a high degree of tuning stability.
The bridge requires no notches on the body surface and is easily dismantled for cleaning;
it requires only a small perforated rail on the rear of the body to fix the ball ends of the
strings, and two lock screws to secure it tightly. Available in nickel, chrome, gold, black
chrome, ruthenium and satin chrome.

GROVER ROTOGRIP LOCKING MACHINE HEADS
These locking tuners from Grover Musical Products utilize the design
of the 18: 1 Grover ROTOMATIC machine heads. Simply pull the
string through the posthole and turn the thumbscrew until tight; a
partial turn of the knob tunes to pitch. No more wrapping the string
around the post, no need for locking nuts and the various tools they
require. The thumbscrew will not detach from the unit, so there’s no
need to worry about losing parts. They come in full and mini sizes to
fit most any guitar. Available in Chrome, Gold and Black.
