Twitter has revolutionized the modern concept of what it means
for an online community to act like a community. For gearheads,
this means instantaneous communication with each other about
all things guitar—gigs, rigs, new products, artist news—all within
tiny messages of 140 characters or less. As you’d expect, we’re
in the thick of it, breaking news for and redirecting information
from a vast network of artists, manufacturers, bloggers and
ordinary Joes who, like us, just can’t get enough when it comes
to information about gear, gear makers and players.
