15-year old Conrad Oberg makes “bombs
bursting in air” sound effects during his
rendition of the Star Spangled Banner as
he opens the 40th anniversary Woodstock
concert. Oberg, whose vision is limited
to 15% in one eye, is a phenom guitarist
whose endorsement deal with Marshall will
be announced soon. He cut his first album,
which features his abilities as a keyboard
player, at Sun Studio in Memphis at the
age of nine. Backing him on the album is
Jerry Lee Lewis’ touring band.
