Premier Guitar is proud to announce a new recurring interview series which puts you, the reader, in charge of the interview. “Go Ahead and Ask” is your chance to get straight answers from
industry notables—company CEOs, luthiers, gear designers, artists, etc. You ask the questions,
we get the answers. The world reads them right here in the pages of Premier Guitar and on
premierguitar.com. It’s that simple.
Who?
Your first interview is with Henry Juszkiewicz,
Chairman and CEO of Gibson Guitar
Corporation. We’ll announce the name of
your next interviewee next month when we
run your questions and Henry’s answers in the
February 2010 issue of Premier Guitar.
You name it—new products, old products, company history, company plans… the sky is the
limit. The editors of Premier Guitar will read all
incoming questions and pick ten of them.
When?
When should you submit your question? Due
to our production cycle, you’ll have a better chance of having your question for Henry
selected if you submit it to us shortly after this
issue of Premier Guitar is released.
Where?
Where will you be able to see the interview?
We’ll print every “Go Ahead and Ask” interview in Premier Guitar and as usual, that
means you’ll be able to read the interviews
online, too. If you’re new to PG, you should
know that we put the entire contents of our
magazine online for free at premierguitar.com.
We’ll be announcing new “Go Ahead and Ask”
interviewees in our weekly email newsletter,
Backstage Pass, too—that will be the fastest
way to find out who’s next every month.
Why?
We all love watching experienced players perform but sometimes a guitarist needs to grab an
axe and join the jam, ya know? We enjoy doing
what we do as guitar journalists here at Premier
Guitar but when it comes to interviewing the
marquee names in this industry, we’d love to get
you involved because we know that you know
your stuff and your voices should be heard. We
view “Go Ahead and Ask” as a conversation
between you, the guitar-playing public, and
the people who have the most impact when it
comes to our favorite instrument.
