Named for a seasonal wind in southern
France, the LÂG Tramontane (
Trah-mon-tahn) line includes both steel string and
nylon (classical) guitars. Tramontane guitars
are distinguished by their use of fine
woods, as well as their quality craftsmanship and finishes.
The Stage Series offers premium instruments for the novice and casual player. The
Master Series models are appointed with
fine details and select woods to satisfy the
accomplished musician.
The acoustic/electric models showcase
LÂG’s proprietary electronics systems,
with features that vary throughout the
line. The custom preamps were developed
with Shadow Electronics; most offer a
wide variety of sound possibilities through
user-friendly presets. Complementing the
electronics are the unique magnetic and
piezo LÂG pickups, which vary depending
on the model range.
