The camera captures Stevie Ray Vaughan just after
he strikes a big chord with his Number One Strat.
Vaughan’s impact in his favorite city will be further
memorialized in 2010. The Austin City Council
recently agreed to induct Vaughan into the Austin
Music Memorial along with Townes Van Zandt,
Janis Joplin, and Clifford Antone. Vaughan has
already been memorialized in Austin with a bronze
statue at Auditorium Shores on Lady Bird Lake.
