Vox’s new 55 series guitars aim to bring much of the quality
and style of the company’s head-turning Virage line to a more
affordable price point. The SSC- 55 single-cutaway features an
inverse heel joint for easy upper-fret access, a MaxConnect aluminum bridge, and low-noise Vox CoAxe pickups.
B. Fender Custom Shop Doubleneck Bass VI/Jazzmaster
Created by master builder Dennis Galuszka, this one-of-a-kind doubleneck features a three-tone sunburst ash body, two Jazzmaster
pickups, two Jaguar pickups, four-way Bass VI switching, vintage
frets, and a four-ply faux tortoiseshell pickguard.
C. PRS Dallas II
Building on one of Paul Reed Smith’s original amp offerings, the
Dallas II brings the 50-watt boutique style down in price with half
handwired, half PC-board construction. The amp features 6L6
power tubes and is available as a head or combo.

D. Z.Vex Inventobox
With the Inventobox, Z.Vex puts effect design in your hands. It
includes a blank circuit board and instructions on how to connect
the included selection of pots and components to create your
own two-channel effect concoction. The Inventobox comes with
all the necessary tools, cables, and wires, and it can also be
purchased in a package that includes modules of Z.Vex’s Fuzz
Factory, Super Hard-On, and Tone Stack components that you
can install as-is or modify to your liking.

E. Egnater Armageddon
Egnater ventures into the land of high-gain and metal with the new
100-watt Armageddon. The three-channel head features built-in ISP
Decimator noise-reduction circuitry, a footswitchable mid cut/boost,
and 5881 power tubes that can be switched to operate at 60 watts.

F. Blackstar HT Venue Series
UK-based Blackstar Amplification’s new HT Venue series
includes the two-channel HT Studio 20-watt head or 1x12
combo, the two-channel HT Club 40-watt 1x12 combo, the two-channel HT Soloist 60-watt 1x12, the three-channel HT Stage
60-watt 2x12 combo, and the three-channel HT Stage 100-watt
head, in addition to 1x12, 2x12, and 4x12 extension cabinets.
The amps feature EL34 power sections, an effects loop, master
volume, digital reverb, and Blackstar’s Infinite Shape Feature
(ISF), which lets you customize voicing for more of a British or
an American sound—or a blend of the two.

G. Gitane DG-455 Electric Gypsy Jazz Guitar
The DG-455 features a solid spruce top, rosewood back and
sides, ebony and maple purfling, a bone nut, and a mahogany
neck that joins the body at the 14th fret and is topped with a
slotted headstock. Other features include Fishman Aura electronics for plugging and quickly achieving several authentic tonal
shades at the click of a button.
H. Jackson Randy Rhoads Tribute Guitar
Jackson has reproduced Randy Rhoads’ first guitar, the
Concorde, which also was the very first guitar to bear the
Jackson name. The guitar is an exact replica of Randy’s original,
and it was built by Mike Shannon and distressed by Chip Ellis to
match the exact condition of the original. The guitar is limited to
60 pieces worldwide ( 30 in the USA).

I. Bogner Brixton
Part of Bogner’s new International line of smaller, single-channel
amps (which also includes the New Yorker, the Mojado, and
the Barcelona), the Brixton is designed to sound huge at low
volumes. It uses tubes to operate at 12 watts, and features and
gain and master volume controls.

J. Electro-Harmonix Ring Thing
The Ring Thing single sideband modulator is a programmable
filter with upper and lower sideband isolation and multiple
waveforms for out-of-this world ring-modulator sounds, as well
as pitch shifting, pitch modulation, and vibrato. Controls include
Blend, Wave, Filter/Rate, Fine/Depth, Coarse, and a Mode knob,
as well as Preset/Tune and Bypass footswitches. Other features
include stereo outputs, expression pedal input, and LEDs to
indicate which of the nine presets is selected.
