Tosin Abasi explores the neck of his custom 8-string
guitar built by Jesse Hall with Animals as Leaders, a
trio that involves a drummer and another guitarist.
Abasi, who was primarily self-taught before studying
at the Atlanta Institute of music, blends metal, jazz
and classical in a way that showcases his ability to
blend technical facility with individual expression.
