Andreas Kisser’s ’ 87 Charvel Model 2 howls as
he plays a set with recently formed supergroup
HAIL! in NYC. The Brazilian shred hero of
Sepultura fame enjoys the group’s cover-
focused mentality, which pays homage to early
metal groups like Kreator, Destruction, Overkill
and Celtic Frost. A number of artists have
participated in the supergroup’s outings, but
its most recent members include Tim “Ripper”
Owens, Dream Theater’s Mike Portnoy and David
Ellefson (who recently rejoined Megadeth).
