Maxon SM- 9 Pro+ Super Metal and ST- 9 Pro+ Super Tube
Maxon introduces two new Nine Series models—the SM SM- 9
Pro+ Super Metal and ST- 9 Pro+ Super Tube. The SM- 9 is said
to create a wide variety of high-gain tones, from the scooped
midrange of the ’80s to beefy sounds perfect for drop-tuned
metal. The ST- 9 is based on Maxon’s classic “808” circuit and
now offers a Mid control, a diode mode switch, and switchable
9- or 18-volt operation via an internal voltage-doubling circuit.
Both pedals have an easy-access battery compartment, die-cast zinc chassis, and a three-year warranty.

Warwick Corvette NT LTD 2010
The Corvette NT LTD 2010 bass has a light swamp
ash body with a hard maple neck, maple fretboard,
and a dark ziricote top and matching headstock.
Two active Twin Jazz pickups and active, three-band
MEC electronics aim to give the Corvette NT powerful punch and modern flexibility. Each is personally
signed on the back of the headstock by Warwick
founder and president Hans-Peter Wilfer.

The 50-watt Pearl head is powered by
two 6L6s and features three JJ 12AX7
preamp tubes. Port City describes it
as “the perfect option for a simple,
clean, mid-wattage amp all in a cabi-
net that doesn’t require a roadie.”
Front-panel controls include Volume,
Treble, Middle, and Bass knobs, as
well as a Bright switch. A tube-buff-
ered effects loop is optional.
