1. Custom-built by Jackson for the
Somewhere in Time tour, this Adrian Smith signature model features an ebony fretboard and
a DiMarzio Super Distortion bridge pickup.
2. Smith’s second signature-model Jackson
sports a maple neck and black pickguard, but
is otherwise identical to its mate.
3. Jackson’s marketing manager, Brian
McDonald, ordered this custom guitar—
which was inspired by his goldtop Les Paul—
for Smith.
4. Smith’s early-’70s SG has stock
Gibson humbuckers.
5. Smith’s early-’70s goldtop Les Paul has a
DiMarzio Super Distortion bridge pickup and
a mini-humbucker from a Gibson Firebird.
