Activision, the company behind the
Guitar Hero video games, announced
that the series is being shelved. While
lingering anti-guitar-game pickers
might rejoice, remember these games
are mostly responsible for today’s
preteens knowing who the Allman
Brothers are. We’re keeping an eye on
the situation.

I cannot stress how important it is to rehearse with the gear
you’re going to use. Tap dancing before an already-tricky
solo is guaranteed to throw you off your game. If it’s simply
not practical to do this, put some pieces of paper on the floor
to represent pedals and play the song standing up, then go
through the motions. It will help!

a TON. I don’t know if you realize this, but
before you started bangin’ on the AC/DC
open-E vibe, you were jammin’ the “Middle
Finger” riff by THE DRILLS. Two of my fave
bands. Hahahaha. Have a kick a$$ day.
