Guitarist and lead vocalist Alex Turner
leads the Arctic Monkey’s main stage
charge on a chilly San Francisco afternoon. Turner is working his primary
axe, a Jazzmaster-style guitar constructed from a Warmoth body and
neck, outfitted with a Seymour Duncan
humbucker at the neck and a Burns
Tri-Sonic single-coil at the bridge. His
vintage tone is achieved by plugging
into a pair of Selmer Zodiac Twin 30s
and an Estey Magnatone Custom 440.
