Collective Soul’s lead guitarist
Joel Kosche tears into a solo at
the Motor City Casino’s music
venue on his main guitar, an MJ
Guitars Mirage. While Kosche
owns a handful of Mirages, this
particular guitar is his main
axe. Humbucker-loaded with
a Seymour Duncan SH- 1 in
the neck and an SH- 11 in the
bridge, Kosche’s favorite axe
has an ultra-thin black finish
(note the area between the
pickups), and is adorned with
the symbol for infinity on the
5th, 12th, and 19th frets.
