With the Black Crowes on hiatus, Chris
Robinson fronts his current project—
the Chris Robinson Brotherhood—
through an evening of Southern-tinged
folk-rock on a recent tour stop in Los
Angeles. Alongside guitarist Neal Casal,
Robinson plays his “dream guitar” from
the Vox USA Custom Shop. Involved
with the design process of the guitar
from start to finish, the inlay work
on the body and neck is a nod from
Robinson to the Grateful Dead’s Jerry
Garcia and Bob Weir.
